Our bikinis are designed for minimal coverage - which is why so many of our customers love them! The silky soft fabric moulds to your body after a few wears, so if the swimwear is a bit tight at first, you have a winner!
Our range has also been designed to minimise tanlines. So, with the wrong tanlines, our bikinis can look more revealing than they are. Sometimes you need to get your tanlines right for our swimwear to look right.
Your personal body attributes (such as breast size, hip width, frame, etc) and personal preferences (showing more/less skin, wearing whilst active or sunbathing) can influence how the bikini will or should fit and therefore what size is right for you.
Although we are all different shapes and sizes, to give you a little context on the way the swimwear fits, a great resource is Instagram. Check out our account @arkswimwear and scroll through to see if any of our customers have a similar frame/body shape to you. When you find one, comment to ask what size they are wearing.
Refer to our size guide to get an idea of the size that is best for you!
We highly recommend not going down in size - remember, they're designed for minimal coverage! If you're in between sizes, we'd suggest going the larger size of the two.
Our Bralettes and Triangles have adjustable shoulder or neck straps and adjustable sizing around the ribcage. As they have no padding or wire, they mould to the body and are very comfortable.
Our Crops have a spaghetti strap over the shoulder and is not adjustable. When initially trying the top on, if the back banding is raised around an inch in between your shoulder blades, you have the right size. The fabric will stretch after a few wears and this band will level out once the item starts to mould to your natural bust and body shape. The straps may also feel tight at first, but these will also stretch after a few wears.
If you like a bit of cleavage or side boob, we recommend you stay true to your size. If you like more coverage, then go up a size.
Our One Piece has been designed to fit a body with even body proportions. It does not have any adjustable hardware, so please consider your body shape, bust size, and height.
Our bottoms are seamless to maximise comfort. They are designed to sit quite low so if you plan to wear them high on your hip, be aware the sides may twist.
The design and cut of the front of our bottoms is identical – only the design and cut of the back changes.
Cheekys: for the most coverage, choose the Cheekys. The flattering cut offers an inverted curve which changes your 'bum' to a 'booty'! However, by no means are the Cheekys are full coverage bottom.
Hybrid: as the name suggests, this cut is somewhere between our Cheekys and Brazilians. If you're used to Cheeky bottoms but are not quite ready for Brazilians then this cut is a must!
Brazilians: the Brazilians give the least coverage and the best tanlines! This bad boy gets super skinny around the back and cannot be seen between your butt cheeks - it's only visible at the top. They are comfortable to wear thanks to our super-soft fabric and skinny back design.
